Honestly, it was my first time staying at a 5star hotel. The room was enormous and very clean (and the cleaning staff made sure it stayed that way during our stay). Far larger than anything I have experienced in Japan. It had a large and comfortable bed, a large bathroom with all the facilities, shower and bathtub. There were plenty of storage spaces, sockets for electrical devices and the internet connection was also very good. The room also had a great view of the city and Toyohira River. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Another plus was the spa access included. I personally used the sauna and the relaxation pools beside them. And I think there was also a gym available. The hotel also had three restaurants, each with its own menu and cuisine. You could also rent bicycles from the hotel lobby. - All in all, it was a great experience and a great place to unwind and relax after a day of sightseeing.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the years and remain loyal to it. Located outside the city center but conveniently on the way to Chitose Airport, it’s ideal for travelers. The rooms are spacious, simple yet elegant, with a charming old-fashioned touch. The bathrooms are also spacious, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower. The layout and design of the rooms make them a very comfortable place to stay. Recently, the hotel has added new amenities, including a gym/sauna and a lounge. While I didn’t use the gym/sauna, the lounge stood out as a pleasant space to work or relax with a coffee or a beer, making a noticeable difference. The bar also remains a strong point, offering a good menu and excellent service from a professional bartender. This hotel provides excellent value for its price and is well-suited for short stays

I really appreciate the staffs. They are so helpful and kind. During check - in, I was complained due to there was no bell boy that helped in the lobby so i need to drag my suitecases alone and airport bus that i thought it was in the lobby but it turned out is outside the hotel. The staffs listened my complained carefully and they assisted me during my stays. They helped me booking taxi to city and when i checked out, they helped carried out my suitcases until in front of limousine bus stop since it was rainy snow heavily so it's hard to carry 2 suitecases alone. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I love it. The staffs really made my stay feel comfortable. thank you tsubaki sapporo staffs :)

Location is good. There is a hotel shuttle that picks up from Sapporo Station every hour or so but since we missed it, we took a public bus from Sapporo Station to get to the hotel which was not too bad although crowded. We also appreciated that there is an airport limousine public bus that picks up from right across the street from the hotel. It may not always be on time though. The room was spacious and large for three people but there was a slight smell. We wish we got to use the fitness room and sauna more but it isn't open late at night so we would often come back too late for it.
