Overall the hotel was clean and tidy. The services was full flex and the staff were adequately friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was very good but the staff in breakfast room could be a bit more friendly. The rooms were very spacious compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in Japan and although a bit dated but the rooms were clean and tidy and did not smell of smoke 👍🏻despite some of the reviews we read. It was a good 3 night stay and had all the amenities we needed, including a very friendly car parking facility and big lobby and drop-off area which was useful for our large travelling party when loading and unloading bags and shopping! In conclusion, we would come back here again and there was nothing major to complain about this hotel! Highly recommended for family travel as the triple rooms are spacious with sufficient space to open 3-4 large luggages with still room left to walk around 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Japanese restaurant excellent, kaiseki dinner a series of culinary masterpieces. The lobby is quite attractive, with its grand vista and map of Japan on the ceiling. I very rarely care about hotel lobbies, but this one actually contributes to my overall positive feeling about the stay. Shuttle bus service was also excellent, though I would have appreciated an earlier departure than was available, as I had to get to New Chitose Airport. But no problem really, as the Hotel-arranged taxi got me to Sapporo Station in about 10 minutes. Price of room quite reasonable for high quality of accommodation and service at Premier Hotel Tsubaki. I will be happy to return to this Hotel next time in Sapporo.

Stayed here for 2 nights during the last weekend of the snow festival. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel which was a plus in the mounds of snow and ice, there's also a free shuttle bus that runs every hour from the hotel to JR Sapporo station. There's another bus stop a 2 min walk from the hotel where you can take buses to Susukino/central areas which was very convenient. The room had more than enough space for 3 people and it was cleaned everyday/new towels given/teabags/mugs changed etc. We had a really comfortable stay :) I would stay again

Huge room with sofa and living room chairs with a pretty view of the city and mountain range. We were on the 10th floor and that floor gave us access to the lounge with snacks and Sapporo Classic Beer on tap from 4 to 6 pm each night which was a great perk. The bed was definitely the most comfortable bed I had in 5 hotels during my spring break trip this month & the pillows were the best too when most Japanese hotel pillows are often terrible. The shower had good power and a lot of space too compared to other hotels on this trip.

Struggled a long time to choose a place in Sapporo. Seemed to be mostly older, grander hotels in slightly out of the way locations (like this one) or newer simpler local hotels with tiny rooms and limited breakfast. Glad we chose the former not the latter. Room sizes were very generous as was breakfast, the two most important things for us. Also enjoyed overlooking the river. Had a very nice dinner at the Japanese restaurant for a reasonable price, with excellent service.
